How can you make a 3D character by using 2D photos?

To make a 3D character using 2D photos with Kaedim, follow these steps

  1. Input your 2D photo of the character, ensuring it adheres to the asset creation guidelines, such as having a white background and being a clear image.

  2. Once submitted, the photo goes through preprocessing steps to accurately represent it in 3D.

  3. The processed image enters the 2D to 3D reconstruction step of the pipeline and exits as a 3D model. However, it might not be perfect initially.

  4. A Kaedim artist then refines the 3D reconstruction to ensure it's production-ready.

  5. Your model is now ready for download, texturing, and further editing.

Please note, for characters, especially those with a lot of accessories or armor, it's recommended to pass these attachments separately from the main character to ensure the best results.
