Prototype assets output **only** 3D geometry. Once finished, you will be able to [request revisions](/reviewing-assets/request-revisions.md), [upgrade the quality](/reviewing-assets/request-revisions.md#upgrade-quality), [use the fill colour tool](/creating-assets/prototype-assets/manual-fill-colour.md) to add colour to your model, and [upgrade to game-ready ](/creating-assets/prototype-assets/upgrade-to-game-ready.md)to add textures and rigs.

## Generation Settings

### Dimensions

You can set the height of your asset here. Width and depth will be scaled proportionally.

<figure><img src="/files/0hmKpovXMknVWwVfk7F4" alt="" width="303"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Tags

You can apply tags to your asset to help you categorize and filter your asset for easy searching in the Assets page.

<figure><img src="/files/PrtIOO5ExjkpxjmbTdGy" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Level of Quality

We offer 3 levels of quality for Prototype assets: Standard, High, and Ultra. The level of quality you choose will determine how much detail is captured in your 3D asset.&#x20;

The recommended generation quality depends on the complexity of your model. Simple models can be created using the "Standard" option. If you have a more complex model, or would prefer a higher-detailed generation, select "High" or "Ultra".

<figure><img src="/files/H1YXhxUgZOP9lO27jB9j" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Click on "*Compare qualities"* to open a pop-up with 3D viewers for each of the different quality levels.

### Max Polycount

The max polycount determines the density of your polygons and the amount of detail that will be captured.

## Quality Level Examples

### Standard Quality

Standard has a base poly count setting of 30,000. This quality level will capture the silhouette of your model and basic details. This quality may not be ale to capture more intricate detailing.

&#x20;We recommend using this quality level for small props or environment assets.

### High Quality

High has a base poly count setting of 100,000 polys. This is best for more intricate models that require finer detail.

### Ultra Quality

Ultra has a base poly count setting of 300,000 polys. This works best for complex models that need to capture the most detail possible, such as small details and beveled edges.

{% hint style="info" %}
If you'd like to create a textured, rigged, and optimised hero character or a key asset, we recommend using the [Game-ready pipeline.](/creating-assets/game-ready-assets.md)

## Processing Time

The processing time on your 3D generations can vary depending on generation quality:

<table><thead><tr><th width="138">Quality</th><th>Priority 1</th><th>No priority</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Standard</td><td>~ 20 min.</td><td>~6hr</td></tr><tr><td>High</td><td>~ 40 min.</td><td>~12hr</td></tr><tr><td>Ultra</td><td>~ 80 min.</td><td>~24hr</td></tr></tbody></table>

{% hint style="info" %}
Generation times can also vary depending on how busy the platform is.&#x20;
{% endhint %}
