Prototype assets output only 3D geometry. Once finished, you will be able to , , to add colour to your model, and to add textures and rigs.
You can set the height of your asset here. Width and depth will be scaled proportionally.
You can apply tags to your asset to help you categorize and filter your asset for easy searching in the Assets page.
We offer 3 levels of quality for Prototype assets: Standard, High, and Ultra. The level of quality you choose will determine how much detail is captured in your 3D asset.
The recommended generation quality depends on the complexity of your model. Simple models can be created using the "Standard" option. If you have a more complex model, or would prefer a higher-detailed generation, select "High" or "Ultra".
Click on "Compare qualities" to open a pop-up with 3D viewers for each of the different quality levels.
The max polycount determines the density of your polygons and the amount of detail that will be captured.
Standard has a base poly count setting of 30,000. This quality level will capture the silhouette of your model and basic details. This quality may not be ale to capture more intricate detailing.
We recommend using this quality level for small props or environment assets.
High has a base poly count setting of 100,000 polys. This is best for more intricate models that require finer detail.
Ultra has a base poly count setting of 300,000 polys. This works best for complex models that need to capture the most detail possible, such as small details and beveled edges.
The processing time on your 3D generations can vary depending on generation quality:
Standard
~ 20 min.
~6hr
High
~ 40 min.
~12hr
Ultra
~ 80 min.
~24hr
