FAQ
General
What does Kaedim's AI-powered outsourcing service provide?
We combine advanced AI with our 3D art team to deliver production-ready 3D assets faster than traditional outsourcing. Our service helps studios reduce costs, speed up iteration, and keep creative control.
Can I request style matching to my existing art pipeline?
Yes. You can upload reference models or art guides, and we will align new assets to match this style.
On Enterprise, you'll also be able to create a custom style with us to define and maintain your unique visual identity across all assets through an iterative process.
How do I use the outsourcing service?
To access our outsourcing service, you will have to be on the Business plan. You will then need credits to start generating 3D assets.

Can you export in specific material setups or shader networks?
Yes. On Enterprise, we can match your preferred material conventions.
Timelines
How long does it take to receive assets?
Delivery timelines depend on the complexity of the asset, but on average, assets are delivered within 10-24 hours.
Can I request faster delivery?
Yes, you can request for specific assets to be delivered first using the Priority Feature.
Scope of Work
What type of assets can you create?
Our AI-powered outsourcing service supports a wide range of 3D asset types tailored for a wide variety of use cases, including game development, industrial and product design, marketing, 3D printing, and virtual experiences. These include but are not limited to:

Voxel
Are animations or rigs included?
Rigging is available for Game-ready with Rig assets. Animation is currently not offered with our service.
What is not covered by Kaedim's service?
While we specialize in 3D models, we don’t currently provide:
2D concept art (outside of reference generation)
Animation
Non-3D media assets (audio, video editing, etc.)
Can I request asset variations?
Yes. You can request color, material, or detail variations of an existing asset using the Branching feature. Each variation is treated as a new asset, and you can request revisions that won't affect the original.
Process
How do feedback and revisions work?
Feedback is collected directly on assets, with numbered markers and written notes for precision. Our AI-assisted workflow allows faster iteration, reducing typical revision cycles by 50%. Learn more on how to make revisions here: Handling revisions.
How many revisions are included?
We work in iteration rounds rather than unlimited revisions. Our standard process usually goes through 1-2 structured rounds of feedback per asset.
Can I upload my own 3D blockouts?
Yes. You can upload your own 3D blockout to guide the generation process. We support two options:
Base Mesh – Serves as the foundation for your model. The uploaded geometry may be partially incorporated into the final mesh generation to preserve shape and detail.
Block Model – Used as a size and proportion reference to ensure the generated asset accurately matches your intended scale and silhouette.
You can also upload finished models to skip a specific step in the pipeline, like High Poly for example.
Can I integrate Kaedim into my pipeline via API?
API access is available for Enterprise customers, enabling automated asset submissions and integrations with proprietary tools, asset managers, or build pipelines.
