Assigning tasks to team members

Assigning agents ensures accountability, keeps workflows smooth, and makes it crystal clear who owns what at every stage of your 3D pipeline.

In Flow 3D, each pipeline step can be assigned to an agent. An agent can be a member of your internal team or Kaedim. Once assigned, that agent is responsible for completing their step of the pipeline.

Where You Can Assign Agents

You can assign pipeline steps in two places:

  1. During Creation

    • On the Create page, select the agent responsible for each pipeline step before starting generation.

    • This ensures ownership is clear from the very beginning.

  2. After Creation

    • Once an asset has started generating, go to the Assets Page.

    • Open the asset’s Settings and update the assigned agent for any pipeline step.

    • This is useful if responsibilities change mid-production.

How It Works

  • The assigned agent is responsible for the step they’re given.

  • They’ll upload their work, respond to feedback, and mark the step as complete.

  • If revisions are needed, the task stays with the same agent until it’s approved. However, revisions can also be re-assigned to a different agent.

Best Practices

  • Assign agents at creation to avoid confusion later.

  • Reassign only when necessary to keep accountability clear.

  • Combine with tags and priority settings for even more structure.
