Asset information
History Panel
The History Panel provides a chronological record of all activity related to the asset.
What You’ll See:
Creation details: Date, time, and user/agent who created or uploaded the asset.
Modifications: Every change recorded, including updated versions, naming adjustments, or file replacements.
Generation attempts: Logs of Kaedim runs (successful or failed).
Assignments: When the asset was assigned to an agent, with notes if applicable.
Linked tasks: History of which tasks the asset has been attached to or detached from.
Processing/Queuing time: How long the asset stayed in queue/was processing for each stage/version.
Why It’s Useful:
Ensures traceability across the asset’s lifecycle.
Makes it easy to roll back to earlier iterations if needed.
Helps teams understand who did what, when, improving accountability.
Settings Panel
The Settings Panel shows the parameters used for asset generation and any art/technical specifications.
What You’ll See:
Generation Settings: Customization parameters for each pipeline step selected before generation. These act as the creative and technical brief for the assigned agent.
Technical specifications: Polygon count, texture resolution, file format, and version tags.
Why It’s Useful:
Provides a single source of truth for how an asset was configured.
Assists in troubleshooting by showing the exact settings used in generation.
Ensures consistency when creating multiple assets with similar requirements.
Best Practices
Always review settings before running a generation to avoid unnecessary iterations.
Use the History Panel (with queue/processing logs) to anticipate delivery time and catch issues early.
When collaborating, encourage your team to leave notes in the assignment and settings fields for clarity.
Cross-check technical metadata against project requirements (e.g., target polycount or texture size).
